Emirates Palace Offers World's Most Expensive Stay

The over-the-top Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi is offering a $1 million, week-long stay which it claims is the world's most expensive holiday package. The Palace Suite package includes first-class airline tickets, a chauffeur-driven Maybach for the week, a personal butler, daily spa treatments, and day trips via private jet, the Gulf-based Khaleej Times Online reports. The offer is being made as an attempt to earn the hotel a slot in the Guinness Book of World Records, and part of the proceeds will be donated to charities in the U.A.E., the paper reports. The luxe day trips include jetting to Iran to weave Persian carpets and to Bahrain to dive for deep sea pearls, which will then be set for you in custom-designed jewellery.

Those who support O'Bama are by pure definition an idiot.
If you think for a second that any polltician is for the little people think again. The average joe/jane is so brainwashed to think thier party is going to do something for them that they will forgive any of it's members their sins, including directly lying and calling it huffing and puffing.
And in particular voting for a Dem and expecting things to get better is fantasyland, they have had major control of the government, including on some state levels, for a number of years now. SEEN any change in your behalf?
NOT

I absolutely agree with you Mozelle! The Dem's have done nothing but talk iout of both sides of their mouths! Everyone needs to open their eyes a little wider and listen more closely to what these clowns are saying. They are only saying Change we can believe in because that's what people want to here. Congress and the Senate are totally useless. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!

One observation I can safely say over the past 20 years or more every time a Rep is in office we end up with trillion dollar debts and 1-3% of the RICH keep getting RICHER, and the middle class disappear and the masses get poorer (Third World Country effect in play).
In comes a Dem whether the senate and house is Rep strong hold and we have surplus (e.g Rep was in power trillion dollar debt in come Pesident Clinton 8 yrs ago our last surplus before BUSH & Co was voted in for 8 yrs and then the same cycle), prove me wrong time now for any Democrat it has nothing to do with color as this election is now being portrayed and they will with all the former President Clintons cabinet and the Democrats united would keep cleaning up the mess left by the big money hungry get rich quick schemes for the old boys club.
Go backwards in history and honestly report your findings factually this is just my modern day knowledge some of you bloggers disseminating your unfactual ideologies who are older and more EXPERIENCE should let me and many other Inexperience younger Americans know what you have seen, researched and analyzed over those years that you were privy to, seeing that EXPERIENCE matter more than common sense and having intelligence and better judgement, the blatant hypocrisy about parties and affiliations is that people tend not to see the TRUTH steering them in their faces.
Uninformed Americans do not keep sensible accountable gov't in place they have consistently voted party affiliations in and the economy goes to shambles for all the smart experience voters my challenge to you is to go do some research to back up your facts that you so positively and ignorantly throw around to other intelligent forward thinking Americans. Please do research know your country politically and otherwise and then inform us so we can know the whole truth as you have witnessed it and be better citizens of this great nation of ours the USA. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Democrats may have had a little time in office, but they can only attempt to make change and reform. The President has the ultimate weapon, Veto Power! That's exactly what he has used to deter any type of change unless it suited him. I was formerly a conservative. No party has what's best for the general masses in mind. Every attempt to make change was halted unless a blank check was written to fund the war. I find it selfish. So before you make a comment on any of the presidential candidates do your homework! That's what I'm doing.

As an independant I wouldn't be so quick to blame the Dem's for;
The republican neanderthol's still blo'n big oil;
70+ filibusters- a record in obstruction, including no tax credits for Solar Wind & Hybrid cars!
Doubling or Tripling the $10 Trillion US debt from $5 Trillion in 2000...depending on the cost of the October'08 "Project for a New American Century" Iranian/Syrian surprise.
Currently 25% of your taxes service the 10T Republican Debt!
(92.5% of the $10T debt is from Bushed2, Bushed1 & Raygone...who tripled the 1980 $.75T debt to $2.4T woo huu)
48% increase in the # of Government Jobs, but an actual decline in private sector jobs...The 1st since WWII !
Neocon nut jobs: there is a God..That's why 1/2 of the senate Republican's are up for De-Election Buh byye Senators "Idabeyoho" Craig, Bitter, Stevens, Coleman, Dole, etc..

I am so tired of hearing you people blame everything on Bush! If it wasn't for Bush, Saddam Hussein would still be in power.We still would be having major terrorism problems. No one ever found Bush under the Ovel Office desk like a rat in heat either! Zeke, Obama will never get in.
I would never pay a million dollars to stay at this hotel. What if you don't like diving for your own pearls or making your own carpet ? Charities to the UAE? United Arab Emirates, who are rich in oil and natural gas. I wouldn't dare trust them to give anything to charities. I would not give those people one penny of my money. Who is going to pay this hotel a million dollars to help them get in Guinness World Book? Doesn't sound exciting to me. Vegas will give you all this and more too if you play in the high roller room. With a million dollars, you could. Maybe even win and you don't even have to make your own rug. Vegas would be more fun, the food is fantastic and you wouldn't sick from the food or the water. Caesar's Palace and the Vegas Strip is a hundred times more beautiful than this place.

Mary, this may be a shock to you, but Saddam had no WMD as confirmed by the UN/US weapon's inspectors.
Your Bush just wasted more than 1M unarmed women & Children in the cradle of civilization Vs. 0 combat deaths defending the northern & Southern No fly zone left behind by Bushed1. (not to mention the 0 US combat deaths in Boznia/Hergezovenia)
What a way to treat the homies from the bible thump'n Garden of eden & home to read'n, wtn'n & Math! wu-hu
Mary, why not catch the non-polluting, no more Haliburton oil war, job creating renewable energy wave & leave something behind for your kids besides RepublCon death, disease, distraction & distruction?
