Wylcef Jean Sued For Jewelry Debt
Jacob the Jeweler, who was sentenced to jail last month for money laundering, seems to have no problem heading back to court. His company, Jacob & Co. has sued musician Wyclef Jean for unpaid bills. Court papers filed in Manhattan indicate bought $765,100 worth of watches and jewelry between March 2002 and January 2006 and still owes $319,680 dollars. The company says they have tried many times to get Jean to come forth with payment. His reps had no comment.

Once again we have artist and musicians who try to spend beyond their own means, as a materialistic society we have, they indulged in the envy that their overlavish jewelry adorned them in their music videos and parades. Now reality has finally set in.
Maybe he'll foreclose on his house as well, and those Hummer gasoline bills are finally stacking up on him. If those are the odds than the jewelry bill will have to wait, sorry Jacob.

I always thought Wylcef was a bit of a poser anyway. Out of all of the Fugees I felt he was the least talented one.
