Win A Lugo Shirt and Tie

I've got nothing against a man in casual clothing but casual has its time and place. When you need to step away from the t-shirt and the polo it's time to head to Lugo. The New York store offers fine Italian shirts cut to flatter a man's shape. Lugo creates elegantly stitched shirts that are broad at the shoulder and slim at the waist with mother-of-pearl buttons and the option of French or button cuffs. The shirts also come in a vibrant array of colors.
This week we are giving away not just a Lugo shirt but also a handmade silk tie. And you get to choose the combination either online or by visiting their NYC store so whether you are sartorially adventurous or perhaps a bit more classic you can choose the shirt and tie that suit your style.

When I use to wear a shirt that was not only too big for me, it was so big that the shoulder sat almost half way between my actual shoulder and my elbow, thanks mom, but I guess it is hard to dress a thin teenager with long arms and small shoulders without getting the shirts tailored.

Well, I think that I most regret wearing a 20+ year old slim blue polo tie to a big meeting with businessmen that I was potentially going to be learning from. The front of the tie itself was not in terrible shape, but the back was torn up and there was nothing to do with the other end of the tie. It wouldn't tuck into my shirt right because my shirt was somewhat small, so I rolled long thin strips of duct tap and tapped the end of the tie onto the back of itself, with the tape obviously visible when viewed from profile.

I mistakenly typed "tapped" rather than "taped."

I wore a red pants and a white shirt with matching boots to my homecoming dance. I wanted to show some school spirit and our colors were red and white. It was a good laugh then, but I definitely regret ever wearing it,
