Tired of dragging your luggage through the airport? The LiveLuggage Power Assisted Suitcase uses an internal rechargeable battery. The suitcase plugs in with an adapter to recharge before a trip. Once charged it can be used for around two hours or close to two miles. It's a little bit heavy, weighing around 24 pounds. The luggage has an anti-gravity handle putting 85% of the weight over the wheels, TSA approved combination locks, the Live Locator™ ID - a unique ID to help locate your suitcase in the event of loss and a unique umbrella storage that includes the umbrella. It sells for $1,365.25.

Why not just have a little robot that follows you around like a puppy? With this, you still, actually, have to hold it. The horror. Another reason for all of us not to burn an extra calorie.

I'm always over the weight limit as it is, so this definitely wouldn't work for me. I suppose that the target market for this luggage doesn't necessarily care about the $85 up-charge that you would get each way.

24 lbs? So how much more can you put in there? Most weight limits are 50 lbs checked, 40 lbs carry on. This doesn't seem to be the most idle solution. Heck for that price, you could get some at the airport to carry your bag and you can use the money saved to tip that person.

It weighs too much already. Not a great invention, but then again this blog is for the rich so they are usually flying first class where you don't have to pay the fee.
