John McCain's Former Home, Estate of the Day

Today's home in Phoenix, Arizona was once the home of John and Cindy McCain. The home, on over two acres, was Cindy McCain's childhood home, where she was raised as a privileged beer distributor's daughter. When the McCains lived there they spent $250,000 remodeling the home back in the 1980s. In 2006, the couple downsized into a condo and put the home on the market. When I first heard about it in 2006, they had a bit of trouble selling the house, listing it for around $3.75 million.
The current owner is going for a bit more. They have listed the home, which has seven bedrooms in the main house and two bedrooms in the guest house, for a hefty $12 million. The home includes a master suite with a Mexican-tiled private patio with a spa and built-in fireplace and seating. The gourmet kitchen has slate floors, granite counters and heavy commercial stainless steel appliances. The guest house also has an attached his/her dressing cabana. More pics at the virtual tour. It seems to have had quite the renovation since the McCains lived there. Check out the pics from 2005 when Architectural Digest visited the McCains. It's virtually unrecognizable except for certain telling details like the fireplace in the master bedroom. I have to say, I prefer Cindy McCain's version of this house.

McBush did well by dumping his first (handicapped) wife.

Ah yes. But it's Obama that's the elitist. Think Barry has ever had an 8-car garage? Gotta love the media for ignoring just how loaded McCain is, and just how disconnected from the worries of Americans he really is.

You fail to realize that the 6 car garage was built by the new owners... not the McCains'. The house has been completely remodeled since the McCains sold it. At least Cindy and John bought the house from Cindy's parents, and not a convicted felon like Tony Rezko like Barack Obama did. Oh and not to mention that Barack Obama bought it from Rezko for $300,000 under the asking price. Check your facts before you make absurd comments. The McCain family has earned money, but do not act like elitist. Barack Obama acts like an elitist. For the first few months of the campaign, the question about Obama was: Who is he? The question now is: Who does he think he is?
We are getting to know. Redeemer of our uninvolved, uninformed lives. Lord of the seas. And more. As he said on victory night, his rise marks the moment when "our planet began to heal." As I recall -- I'm no expert on this -- Jesus practiced his healing just on the sick. Obama operates on a larger canvas.

The McCain family has money? Well then why did they let their taxes go for 4 years one 1 of their houses? And to clairify one thing for you, John McCain didn't have a pot to wiz in or a window to throught it out of before he met Cindy, she paid for that house not John. And also did you know that it was Cindy that paid all the money in John's first campaign? In my book John McCain is a piece of crap for what he did to his first wife, she almost dies and he is too busy messing around with Cindy! John McCain states he is for the people? He would be a Wal-Mart greeter if it weren't for Cindy (but that is not saying a whole lot for Cindy for messing with John while he was married)! John McCain is nothing more than a big fat moocher, Cindy is cute and all that, but she came with a little something extra, she's got money, a little added attraction for the cause and that made it a whole lot easier to forget that he had a wife. And as far as JM running our country....if he can't pay his own bills what makes us think that he will take care of the country's finances? Look at us now, we owe enough foreign country's it's not funny, they won't even loan th USA any more, which brings me to, why do we even owe any foreign country? Because the goober smooch in office now spent all of our money to this idiotic war, now, I am as patriotic as the next person but this war was unnecessary. Saddam was not the one who attacked us Bin Ladin was, so.... why didn't we go get him? Why did we really go to war with Iraq? Because Saddam hurt Bush's daddy's feelings years ago? Don't get me wrong here, Saddam was a person that needed reconing with, but Bin Ladin needed reconing with worse! Why is it that republicans seem to always get thier feelings hurt so easily? They wouldn't even sign the bail out bill, and accused Nancy Pelosi of basically.... hurting their feelings. What a bunch of pansies!! And don't even get me started on McCain's side kick Sarah, that's a good name for her, "side kick Sarah". She needs to find a good specialist that can prescribe her some pills for that illness she has. Is there medication out there for nobrainsatol? You need to get a grip with what's going with this country, is that was you want for everyone's future, including yours!
