Burger King's $200 Burger

Of all the restaurants that might offer a $200 truffle-laden burger on their menu Burger King is probably one of the last ones, if not the last one, that comes to mind. But believe it or not Burger King has launched a $200 hamburger called simply "The Burger" that features Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine, and shallot-infused mayonnaise all served up on an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun.
That's quite a list of ingredients.
"The Burger" will be on sale once per week in London and proceeds go to benefit the Help a London Child charity.

Do they shoot you if you put ketchup on it?

What about "Mad Cow Disease?" I thought people in England were abstaining from eating beef products because of this. I realize most Wagyu beef cattle are bred in Australia, but I thought they were having the same problem.

I have a better idea....donate the entire $200 to charity, take the tax write off and get a whopper combo....I am sure that it is better tasting, anyway...

BK should just give free burgers to the homeless. Then when they get sick from eating the free food they can all sue BK.

Are you kidding? Aside from the ventricle clogging sodium level, the Wagyu beef is enough to go celibate! And Saffron dusted bun? That stuff is spendy by itself. Pata Negra Ham? Yum, Mr Carnivore. And it's for charity, peeps! Funny how no one will mail in a check, but get Samuel L. Jackson to say "That IS a tasty burger" (Pulp Fiction) & people will pony up left & right. I can't wait til it comes to the colonies! And remember what Blessed Mother Teresa said, "We the unwilling, led by the unknowing, doing the impossible for the ungrateful..."
Buy a burger, tastes great, feels good. Viva Burgerus Rex!

It's for children, DUH! Does anyone give to charity anymore? Stop being so cheap & help someone less fortunate!

I would eat two or three of these a day if they were available in my area. Plus i would get one to feed to my dog, Free Enterprise, and my parrot, Polly Hates The Commoners, could eat the truffles, lettuce and onion straws. This is wonderful. I hope more companies start catering to the elite.
