Win The Luxury Summit Prize Pack

I attended the American Express Publishing Luxury Summit a couple of months ago but I'm only now getting around to giving you my neat swag. This is a fun one. Not only does it include a really attractive twill bag which could be a small overnight or gym bag, but it's filled with some small gifts. The bag includes:
--A hardcover copy of Robert Frank's book Richistan which is a fascinating look at the not-often-seen world of the ultra rich as explored by the author of the Wall Street Journal's Wealth Report.
--Golf balls and a pamphlet on golf from Grey Goose.
--A selection of samples from Shishedo.
--A selection of travel brochures including a hardbound hotel guide from Leading Hotels of the World.
--A ballpoint pen from Wynn Hotels.
--A pewter leaf coaster from Kendall Jackson wines and a pocket corkscrew from Cambria winery.

The monthly cut and color at my favorite salon. I've tried ones less expensive, and always rue the day.

My make-up. Sorry economy, I'd rather save face then save money.

When the economy goes bad, the rich rarely have to give anything up instead they get the benefit of better prices and often consume more. I am not giving anything up. However, if forced, I would never forgo "decent" wine.

Handbags! a girl can never have too many. To quote the famous SJP as fashion frenzy Carrie Bradshaw, “I’m homeless. I’ll be a bag lady. A Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady.”

I could never give up sending my pooch to doggie day care. He likes it too much and I like him tired when I get home.

My right to complain about the economy and gas prices.

Indeed we have hit hard times. Back in the day (2000), the AMEX Luxury Summit boasted a much more attractive overnight carrier with two luxurious satin pillow covers, the obligatory cork screw that opened two bottles of wine, a linen table runner, a Lladro votive and other goodies. No books or reading material stuffers.
