Coffee's Latest Buzz: Illyquore

The maker of Italy's popular aperitif Campari has linked up with Italian coffee company Illy on a new coffee liqueur product called Illyquore. Guaranteed to give the Starbucks coffee liqueur and Kahlua a run for their money, the liqueur is to be launched in Italy in July and in the rest of the world in 2009. The new liqueur has adopted Illy's Arabica coffee taste without any additives. Illy will retain the brand rights and Campari will distribute.

It cannot and will not taste the same. Illy is really not good, but reconstituted coffee will lack the acidity, richness and freshness of whole bean coffee. This is a "story"? its a lie.well, a free ad for the big corporations, anyway.

Folks, there is a new coffee on the block and it is called
"Mocha Blast". It is loaded with all natural ingredients called
"Adaptogents". All you do is spray 1-6 times per day directly into your mouth and you'll get the full effects of the
caffeine without the down feeling and it is good for you.

I brew coffee for the shuttle astronauts of which I am about to do in a few minutes. Right now it is 3:49 AM.
The keys to perfect coffee : The pot must be impecably clean, start with the best coffee itself, measure the water temp for 170 to 200 degree F range, & serve it immediately.
Coffee will oxidize or react with the atmoshere in about 30 to 45 minutes & then should be discarded.

Chef Alfred:
I'm confused. Why do the astronauts need a chef when all their food comes dehydrated in silver little pouches?

I'm not really an astronauts coffee monkey, but I DID drink straight from the pot at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
