Pamela Anderson Auctions Off Her Viper At Julien's Summer Entertainment Sale
Pamela Anderson has been associating herself with the animal rights group PETA for years (15 years, to be exact) and she's continuing that trend with her latest effort to support the charity: auctioning off her 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster and donating the proceeds.
The car will go up on the block as part of Julien's Auctions' Summer Entertainment Sale of Hollywood Memorabilia. The auction runs June 21 & 22 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and the car is expected to sell for somewhere between $30,000-$50,000.

Anyone notice that this car has LEATHER seats? I wonder how PETA reconciles profiting from dead animal skins?

PETA would love it as it is a dead animal! That is all they want is the enialation of ALL animals on the planet. They don't feel they do enough killing of innocent animals themselves.

Marc, leather is a by product of the animal. It's not like they kill the cow for the hide. Many of us still eat beef. I'm glad they put the hides to use. I also wear leather shoes, belts and purses. No, I don't feel guilty about it.

Sammie needs to do some research. PETA are some of the SCARIEST people on earth! Truly. Their plan is to annihilate ALL pets, all farm animals. They are not do gooders trying to save baby seals....that is just the hook to bring you in.

I am extremely active in the dog community and help with rescue. This is how I KNOW about PETA. There are lots of us that do REAL help and we ALL shun PETA. PETA are terrorist. Know this to be true. They are not good.

Poor Gia, you think PETA is good? They are nothing but terrorist. Do some research on some of their activities. Did you know that in the MILLIONS of dollars they have collected as a "non-profit" that only about 10% has actually gone to HELP. These people are terrorists. They go to dog shows and let dogs loose.....and these poor panicked animals run and are hit by cars. Did you know recently that they torched a car with show dogs in it? Nice. This is who you stick up for??
