My favorite summer place to visit is Paris, FR. My mother took me there when I was a youngster and it left such a lasting impression on me that I vowed to return as an adult. I've yet to return due to my current military commitments but I feel its coming soon! Ah gay pari' soon we will meet again!

My favorite summer place is Montpellier, France. I spent a summer at school there and the town is so idyllic. It is full of old european charm and so close to the Mediterranean. Plus it is a short train ride to Paris, Spain, and Italy.

The Enchantment Resort was enchanting,
Beyond my fondest dreams.
The rocks and spa delivered their message,
"Heaven is closer than it seems."

Nothing beats Tuscany...the food, the light, the small hill towns, the unexpected around every turn.

My fav summer place growing up was the Jersey shore, particularly the shoreline from Atlantic City to Wildwood. I loved the people, the energy, the laughter, the early morning bike rentals, the ice cream, the salt water taffy, the boardwalk, not to mention my first summer kiss. She was beautiful, smelled like vanilla fudge and had a smile as bright as the rising sun. Ahh, the memories.

Calistoga, CA. Small, quiet town where all hotels have mineral water swimming pools and spa facilities (mud baths, facials, massage), some hotels provide bikes. Numerous wineries to visit in the vicinity and 10 min drive to St. Helena to culinary academy, other great restaurants or further down to http://www.copia.org/

My favorite summer place is Bonifacio in Corsica, France.

Any place other than work, but Yellowstone and Grand Tetons are awesome

I spent a week last summer in Carlsbad, about 30 minutes north of San Diego. Perfect weather, perfect beach, and a pretty bad sun burn :)
