Super Heroes Go to Dubai
Yet another big name is coming to Dubailand. Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, has announced a deal with Marvel Entertainment, Inc. to bring a Super Heroes theme park to Dubailand. Mavel includes character such as Spider-Man, The X-Men, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk. The Marvel Super Heroes theme park will be a 4.5 million sq ft development has recently been finalized. The park is expected to open in 2012.This is just the latest on a long string of deals to bring big names to the massive park. The three-billion-square-foot development will feature projects such as DreamWorks Animation Park, Six Flags, Universal Studios Dubailand, Global Village, and several projects including Dubai Sports City, Motor City, Dubai Outlet Mall, Al Sahra Desert Resort, Al Barari, The Polo and Equestrian Club, City of Arabia, Legends, Dubai Wheel and Falcon City of Wonders.
