The Veuve Clicquot Globalight
Karim Rashid must really love sweeping pink lines and feminine appeal -- his Veuve Clicquot Loveseat featured the theme and now so does this Veuve Clicquot Globalight limited edition champagne cooler that he designed. Intended to "encapsulate the bottle with warmth" and surround it with light, Rashid drew his inspiration from a random brainstorming scribble and the idea of a purse or handbag. It serves 3 functions by cooling the champagne, lighting the champagne, and serving as a way to carry the champagne. $4000

i never could understand rashid's designs....they might be nice to some people, but in no way are they timeless. come back in 5 years and you'll be saying to yourself, "what was i thinking?!??!?!"

Did anyone else look at this and at first think it was a certain part of the female anatomy? I mean it's pink and if you turn it upside down........

Some design is intentionally of the moment and in no way conceived as a timeless or classic piece GlobalDia. Nothing wrong with that at all I say. As long as it's enjoyed, who says it has to be timeless? There are no rules.
