The big rings obviously have a felt weight presence for the wearer, but a nice one. Personally, The bigger rings give me a feeling of attachment to this ring-object-piece of art. Its really a matter of getting used to. How many women out there are afraid to put on something larger than a wedding ring? A lot.

Gila

Comments on Moshiko Sculptural Rings

You make a good point, Gila! The African ring (820) which i got from moshiko celebrating the birth of our daughter. Mine is in Jade. From the everyday rings I wear 488 a lot. It is one of our collaborations - I created the illustrations (inspired by Miro).
Besides being Moshiko's assistant, I also teach a course on creative thinking in a school of visual arts in Tel Aviv. I always put on my best clothes and ONE piece of jewelry (maximum 2 - ring + bracelet). My students are always commenting on my jewelry, I love the attention : )
Oh, and there is another ring, my first one, I call it my wedding ring (although we are not officially married). It carries an abstract image of male sperm : ) (for technical reasons it does not yet appear on the site).
Sooo...I have quite a few favorites.

Gila
