We love the stories of big donations, this one comes from Scotland. Duncan Bannatyne, a panellist on BBC One's Dragons' Den, has announced that he is setting up a foundation to give his money away. He has promised to leave most of his £200 million fortune, made through nursing homes and health clubs, to charity. The Scotsman quotes Bannatyne as saying that he believes giving away the money you make is the best reason for making it in the first place.Bannatyne, who has six children, has also made a documentary called Britain's Rich List: Giving It Away which will show him meeting other wealthy people, finding out what they are doing with their money and persuading them to give more money to charity.

hi,
Why would you want to give it away to a charity? My thing with charities are that they only help when your down and out and not when your not wanting to get there. I've been down that road and I can say I live a decent life now, but still have dreams that I want.
I have been saving for a house to build that I want to turn into a home school to save our Lakota Lang. Or even get an old folks home going cause the elderly mean so much to me and I can't stand seeing them mistreated.
I've been wanting the gastric bypass for years but never couls save enough money for it. There is so much that I can even do with 100k, even 10k. But I just can seem to find that one someone that has faith in me. Maybe it's you. You can contact me at SunShynne1221@yahoo.com.... Thanks for your time, or anyone can contact me if they want to help with my dreams... Thanks again...

Hello, my laptop sent me to this site when I inquired about anyone who would like to give to a charity. I am seeking out financial help to assist the dream and goal of a person who loves offering results to and for people and who also loves people. I read your script concerning having six children and still wanting to give because it's better - so my question is if a propsal is submitted for review is there a possiblity that it will be read and considered as a project for funding. Please let me know. I appreciate your time.

Hi,
I know i'm not a big charity house or foundation, but i'm simply from a small island of hawaii. I know its a place of paradise, with the cost of living sky rising. I was curious to know if you'd be willing to sponsor our kids grad nite here. Its a non-alcohol, drug-free, and sober free event. This will be such a blessing to all the graduates. If not sponsor, what about a small donation. Nothing to much that would inconveinence you with all your other so generous gifts. I hope to hear from you. No dollar to small, we'd appreciate!
Thank you
