Mutsy Strollers

My mission to find the perfect stroller is well underway, and my recent obsession is the Mutsy stroller company. The price tag that reads $215 seemed to good to be true...and sure enough....You have to buy the base separate! The bassinet part, costs $215 and comes with a comfy pad for baby, and features the shelled protective encasing that promises to protect your lil guy, this thing looks like it could stop a bullet. The base part is an additional $544 (ouch!) and offers the smoothest ride possible, all terrain wheels and a unique swivel feature. Very cool stroller but for around $700 total it's a little out of my range. Next!

What, no iPod slot or connector? No chilled juice box holder?
By the way, it almost looks like a 4-wheeled Segway.

actually we have exactly this stroller for a bargain of 500€ (including an extra pair of city wheels, a seat and the thing for newborns) because it had the design of last year. it is worth every penny!
amazing details and top quality.
in contrary to most things i see here good relation between price and value ;-)

That does seem kind of steep for a stroller, but you do have to remember that it will be carrying some pretty precious cargo! And compared to some high-end strollers, the $700 or so for the Mutsy is a steal; for instance, the Balmoral stroller goes for almost $3000. Of course, it is amazing - and along with the Bugaboo Frog and the Inglesina Zippy strollers, it made the 3Luxe top three: http://www.3luxe.com/category/Getting_Around/Strollers .
And by the way - the Zippy is only $340, which isn't that bad for a luxe stroller.

That is an expensive stroller - but even scarier is the WEIGHT! Strollers with large wheels like that are always too heavy!
The perfect stroller may not exist. All strollers have their perks and flaws.
Good Luck!

I have this stroller and love it! Considered the bugaboo, the orbit among others. Love all the adaptions available. The basinet for newborns, then the toddler seat for when baby seats up, and even the bigger seat with the steering wheel. I also bought the clip on skateboard thing for my oldest son, and he loves it as well. I also have the maxi cosi car seat an bought the adaptors online from germany, so I can use the base as a car seat carrier, which is perfect and sooo easy and comfy for my baby! Plus, I get lots of comments on it.
