Meet Mr. Roboto

Most of the watches launched at the Baselworld watch show aren't celebrated for their cuteness but this one might be. There's just something endearing about Mr. Roboto the vintage tin robot concept watch from Azimuth. Mr. Roboto is based on the Lantern Robot of the 1950s. The left eye shows the hour and the right eye is the GMT indication. The nose and mouth area shows the seconds and retrograde minutes placements respectively. Mr Roboto uses a modified ETA 2836-2 movement and has a steel tonneau case. He will be available this fall for approximately 4,800 Swiss Francs.
