CURE international, Charity of the Day

CURE International is a charity that focuses on the 125 million children in developing countries, who suffer from Hydrocephalus, Cleft Palate, Clubfoot, Spinal Bifida and other serious deformities and orthopedic conditions. Today over 450,000 children have had their lives drastically improved through the medical miracles that CURE provides. After seeing first hand the overwhelming amount of disabled children in Malawi, and realizing that his medical expertise could be of service, M.D Scott Harrison started CURE in 1996 with the help of his wife. Since then, CURE has established a presence in 12 countries, performing more than 41,000 operations and caring for more than 600,000 outpatients worldwide. There are CURE hospitals in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Honduras and Zambia, just to name a few. With it's ever growing efforts and outreach programs CURE is always in need of help from the public. Visit helpcurenow.org to learn how you can help children in need.
