Yacht Sales Skyrocket

The economy may be slipping but the mega-yacht industry has nothing to fear. Since their mansions-on-water can only be afforded by the uber-rich, who are going to maintain their wealth even if we head into a recession, theirs will be one enterprise that will certainly stay afloat. In fact, the demand for mega-yachts has risen so much that if you order yours today it won't hit the water until four years from now! So just how big does a yacht have to be in order to gain the name "mega"? Most are longer than the Statue of Liberty is tall, which is 151 feet from toes to torch.
