Courteney Buys Jennifer Some Green Wheels

Remember that sweet ride from Chanel I highlighted a couple months ago. Well, after Jennifer Aniston mentioned to her good friend Courteney that she wanted a two-wheel ride to help green up her life, the former Friends star bought Jen a $12,000 Chanel bicycle much like the one I wrote about before. Fashioned with 8-speeds, a quilted leather seat and saddlebag bearing the unmistakable Chanel logo, it is quite the bike. Ridin' in style -- nice move Jen.

Well Jen gets a 12,000.00 bike and Brad and Angelina are overseas in the Middle East helping the poor. Then people wonder why, besides the obvious, Brad left that shallow woman!
PETE Feb 8th 2008 6:08PM
Shallow? It's all relative. The fact that the billions of dollars are spent by Hollywood is what keeps the economy going. It all trickles down. There is always someone poorer than YOU? Are poor people the only one's who should sleep at night? Get over it! Poor kids are wearing $ 100.00 Nikes ,while poorer kids are barefoot. Maybe you should move to Cuba where you could be as pathetic as your neighbor.

Jeffery, The nerve of you spending 25 bucks for AOL when you can get access for less than half of that. You could spend that money on all the stuff you're preaching to us about. Also if you have any hobies at all, shame on you for having fun you selfish, selfish man. Have a good weekend.

$12,000 for a bicycle? I guess it's true about a fool and their money are soon parted..
Sandra Feb 8th 2008 6:01PM
Oh, my! Did not know that Channel offered bikes. Have been looking for one that is not for the common person. Can't wait to get my own!! (Hardy, har-har)
Drewzone Feb 8th 2008 6:00PM

Drewzone Feb 8th 2008 6:05PM
Maybe she can take the seat off, then go for a ride. They are all a bunch of Hollywood sluts. Guess who's baby I'm having today?

Janell
Your a stuck up bitch!!! I for one don't care what you think about spelling. Spell this. up yours
lin Feb 8th 2008 6:09PM
Does it really matter to anyone here who spends what on whatever they choose to purchase??
Aren't some here being just a bit catty??? If you were
asked to pay for the bike, then you could have a say.
Since you were not asked, save your catty comments,
and grow up.
Anna Feb 8th 2008 6:38PM

Oh mary, your comment made my day.
Carol Feb 8th 2008 6:30PM
Although for most everyone of us, a $12,000 bicycle is extremely extravagant, the facts are that it is the everyday person who has glamorized these "stars" -- paying to watch their moves, watching TV shows that feature them, buying the magazines they appear in, buying products they endorse. Yes, it is way out of whack. HOWEVER, how do you know that Courtney (for example) doesn't already give hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity? You don't. We're talking about a frivolous bicycle. It's not fair, but until society changes as a whole, this is what we've created.

Why is everyone suggesting they spend their money one "Other things"? Alot of celebritites have charities they are faithful to or do other good deeds that dont get as much publicity as their wild spendings do. Nobody is looking at the fact she bought her friend a gift. I think it was a kind thing for her to do and if she choses to buy 100 more of them just to look at, thats her business and her money she earns it so let her spend it as she pleases just like everyone else does.
