Tom Cruise Gets a Pricey Ducati
The arrival of the Ducati Desmosedici RR has been greatly anticipated since it was first announced over a year ago and the first one in the U.S. will be delivered to Mr. Mission Impossible himself -- Tom Cruise. With only 1500 of these primo bikes produced, he'll be part of an elite group of motorcycle enthusiasts and Ducati collectors. Now Cruise will have the power of over 200 horses between his legs for which he paid a hefty price of $72,500.

tom actually paid for it, & no i dont believe he is as good of a rider as some other "stars" might be, & brad pitt is probably even more of a rookie than tommy. i was a ducati owner for 10+ years, & its guys like this that made me sell mine. i will buy an mv agusta next time. and they both pretend now, dont they? and it seems as if brad is real good at crying when he dosent get his way... hmmm...

He'll just end up killing himself with this Death trap. You have to be extreamly skilled to ride a machine like that,it is simply to powerful for a novice rider like tom. just A MATTER OF TIME..

How stupid can people be making remarks about somebody elses money. They don't make nasty remarks about the idiots who pay thrugh the nose for harleys or choppers.
A least the Ducati is more than just bling, it is the Lamborgini of motorcycles !

First of all, let me say that I am hardly a tom cruise fan. On the contrary, I think the guy is semi-nuts.
But what he does with his money is his business. He makes a lot money for a lot of people in the film industry (and lots of employment) and gets paid for it handsomely.
This overly-simplistic and naïve logic that just because someone has disposable income it should be donated to another cause is called wealth redistribution. The Russians tried it and didn’t work.
I do commend the wish a safe return to the men and women of our military but don’t see a connection between a rich guy blowing his money and our military operations.
