Tom Cruise Gets a Pricey Ducati
The arrival of the Ducati Desmosedici RR has been greatly anticipated since it was first announced over a year ago and the first one in the U.S. will be delivered to Mr. Mission Impossible himself -- Tom Cruise. With only 1500 of these primo bikes produced, he'll be part of an elite group of motorcycle enthusiasts and Ducati collectors. Now Cruise will have the power of over 200 horses between his legs for which he paid a hefty price of $72,500.

To ride and speed on these animals require a lot of knowledge and experience. They are quite dangerous to part time riders. Hope he takes it easy.

Maybe with something this fast he can outrun the crazy?

I guess instead of giving the $72.000 plus to the homeless or animal shelters( in the USA for a change), or our troops over seas fighting a dead end war!!!His church allows him to waste the money and BRAG about it to the rest of the world. Oh by the way where are his 1st 2 kids now?

That Goddamned Tom Cruise.............Hope he has a wreck on it.

He should donate money to the troops in terms of care packages...LOTS of them for $72K..my son is a Marine and leaves for Iraq tomorrow morning...I am sick about it...could care less that Tom Cruise bought a motorcycle....just trying to keep busy to keep my mind off more important issues by commenting on this....I'm sure all the guys/gals over there in Iraq would love boxes full of important necessities that they can definitely use...or a visit from Tom Cruise to boost their morale!
BUCK Feb 3rd 2008 3:54PM
i agree 72 k could do alot of good for the troops
i,m not sure about the visit i would rather have the cash.
god speed to your son

Our prayers are with your son. We send our youngest in April.
BTW....Mr. Cruise knows only how to PRETEND to be a military person. Remember what he does is only PRETEND. But youre right, maybe that money could have been utilized for something to help those without...but then I'm sure Mr. Cruise would have something to say bout our comments that are part of his present indoctrination.

Val, may God bless you, your family and your son headed for Iraq. I for one will pray for him and his safety while he protects us. Please thank him on my behalf for serving our Nation.

When I was in vietnam, Jane Fonda visited Hanoi. Buying a cool bike isn't the worst thing he could do.

Tom Feb 3rd 2008 2:51PM
He may have 200 horsepower between his legs with this bike but he doesn't have much else between there. Just ask Katie
jeff Feb 4th 2008 8:33PM
I want what Tom has, {His Wife and his Motorcycle}....oooooooohhhh yeah...oh yea, and a couple hundred million././.
Rhonda Feb 3rd 2008 3:06PM
Why is everyone so down on Tom? He works for his money and has a right to spend it the way HE wants!
As for the scientology remarks..here again its HIS money and he should be afforded the same religious freedom as everyone else...
Lorraine Feb 3rd 2008 3:07PM
Wow, that much for a motorcycle. I could use about $100.00 for groceries.
Lorraine Feb 3rd 2008 3:08PM
Wow that is alot of money for a motrocycle. He should drive down skid row and hand out some of that money.
richard jones Feb 3rd 2008 3:31PM
Why give money to people on skid row? They will just buy alcohol or drugs.
