Apparently messy divorces do not preclude ex-spouses from sharing birthday wishes.
Paul McCartney sent Heather Mills $16,000 in presents for her 40th birthday including a $4,000 Cartier watch, $10,000 in gift cards and bags full of luxurious beauty products. I guess it's better than a carload of "Over-the-Hill" gag gifts! Don't let this gesture fool you into thinking their relationship is smoothing out though -- Heather has hired an ex-MI5 spy to catch Paul acting incapable of parenthood in any way possible. At least the courts can't count his choice of gifts against him -- nice work!
