Every time a story of celebrity hotel theft hits the news I wonder why celebrities travel with so many valuables. The latest to lose her bling is singer Dionne Warwick.
Thieves stole two rings, a necklace, a pair of earrings and a Rolex watch worth more than $100,000 total from the singer's room at the Hotel De Russie. The rooms at the hotel
have safety deposit boxes but Ms. Warwick left her jewelry on a night table. What's really interesting is that the robbery occurred in the same room at the hotel where Cameron Diaz encountered a pair of thieves seven years ago.

See where you started the 'moron' crap, Patty. I applaud to others for noticing your stupidity. Your getting the 'Moron of the Year' award. Stupid gurl.

No one in their right mind would leave valuable jewelery like that around, not unless she had and emergency and had to leave all of a sudden. Lets stick with the issue instead of calling people names and trying to correct their spelling. We should pray maybe she hide it and forgot where she hide it at.

Oh my God!! That case she had and WON against Burt and Hal David is SOOOOO old. And people, she doesn't need a cent!! Everytime one of her records is played she gets ASCAP residuals. She also held ALL the masters for ALL those hits she made while under contract with Burt and Hal David and they had to pay HER big bucks for those masters. She owns homes all over the place. Believe me folks, she really doesn't need to collect insurance on a lousy $l00k, because if you knew anything about her you would know those bits of "bling" ain't about a thing to her.

Ms. Warwick was on my flight back from Milan yesterday. No wonder she looked so glum. She was in 1st class, I was in Coach on Continental. Everyone was leaving already and she was the last person in 1st class and business, just sitting there.

Ms. Warwick had a medical emergency and had to be treated; when she returned to the room, she found the jewels missing. Any one that can read and reason should think again about the amount of jewelry she left on the nightstand, e.g., 1 watch, 2 rings, and a pair of earrings! If she wanted to make an insurance claim, would it not have been more? Does that not seem like the appropriate amount of jewelry for a woman to wear? HELLO, as a celebrity, of course her jewels were worth $100K. Some of you girls on here can take the same quantity of jewelry and leave it on the night stand in the Holiday Inn, but yours would only be worth maybe $1000.
All of these people passing judgment on Ms. Warwick should be ashamed. However, I do understand that it does tend to make the common people happy to speak so negatively about others. When examining their own pitiful lives, they take a stab at others.
Finally, Ms. Warwick never claimed to be a psychic. She was only a spokesperson. I wish folks would get their facts together and Patty should know better!!!!! I can appreciate Ms. Warwick’s artistry and contributions to music. After an illustrious career of over 40 decades and five Grammy awards, my hat goes off to her!
