How Much Would It Cost To Live "The Bucket List?"

If you've seen the movie "The Bucket List" starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman as cancer patients on a wacky round-the-world trip, your own wanderlust might be stirred. But how much would it take to embark on a trip like the one that Nicholson and Freeman take in the movie? The LA TImes has a piece in which they add it up. For two, the cost would run around $105,730. This includes $54,000 alone for a renting private jet (Nicholson has his own in the movie). In the movie, the pair don't just travel, they also take on a variety of signature experiences including sky diving and car racing. They also stop in some pretty amazing places including Chateau de la Chevre D'Or in Nice, France, the Serengeti In Tanzania, and the Great Wall of China. The exact total is tricky to determine since there is not currently a tour that does the exact itinerary laid out in the movie. It sounds like a great idea for a travel company to do, so I would not be surprised to see a tour operator start a Bucket List trip soon.
