FYI this is fake, Hermes never made anything out of carbon fiber, you can even tell as the latch which is not that used by Hermes.

Did a search and could only come up with this from an interview in the New York times Dec 20th 1987....

"Despite his company's rich history, Mr. Dumas-Hermes likes to talk about his company's place in the modern world. He mentions that there are robots in the printing plant, that the carbon fiber in his new Hermes briefcase is the same as on the exterior of France's Ariane rocket,"

I assure you this is real and it is also hardly news. Hermes have been making this suitcase (it two sizes) for quite a while now. My father has had the slimmer of the two since around (or even before ) 1990. They also turn up on eBay from time to time. Having seen, and an a few rare occasions used, it I must say it is a great suitcase but not (as with a lot of Hermes things) worth the price tag (if I remember correctly this is only made to order and the slimmer costs around $18,000.00). Certainly the best carbon suitcase there is by far though.

Congratulations if you have that kinda money to burn on a document/flask holder.Is it too much to ask that for the money....I'd get:

BIOMETRIC LOCKS
TABLET PC
GPS IN CASE IT'S STOLEN
4SIDED CAM/REC MIC.

The wealthiest guy in the room is'nt carrying a briefcase.
