Teri and Ashton Are the New Faces of Baume and Mercier Watches

Watch company Baume and Mercier has a tradition of having celebrity ambassadors who appear in their print ads that are part of the "Baume & Mercier & Me" campaign. The 2008 ambassadors will be Teri Hatcher and Ashton Kutcher. Past ambassadors have included Meg Ryan, Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Basinger and Gary Sinise. For the new campaigns all royalties that would go to the actors and their photographers are donated to charities chosen by the actors and the watch brand. Teri's campaign starts on January 1 with Ashton's campaign starting on April 1. Is it just me or does Ashton Kutcher seem like an odd choice to front this campaign. He's easy on the eyes, certainly, but seems to lack a certain gravitas necessary for a luxury watch campaign.

Are you kidding me? You think Teri Hatcher has any more 'gravitas'? She's so dimwitted in everything she does, and looks emaciated. Ashton is really coming into his own, and has garnered major respectability, and so much better looking.

Hmm, b-list actors for b-list watches.
Works for me.
Put another way, actors that rely purely on looks representing watches that rely purely on looks. But to be fair, Ashton is great at acting like a moron. The question is if he is acting.

At least they are doing it for charity.

Wow, I am really happy to see that Teri Hatcher would be one of the 2008 ambassadors of watchmaker Baume & Mercier. I guess it would be a great commercial cooperation between the watchmaker and Teri. I am a big fan of Teri, you will never imagine how much I like her. she is such an amazing and talented actress! She has played a multitude of roles in different TV shows and
movies during her careers. Some more well known than others. Her main successes were as Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives. To me, she will always be Lois Lane, no matter how critically acclaimed she is from Desperate Housewives (and I know she is!), but her Lois is the best and will be the best forever. I found one of her Collectors with a good price here: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=74281 , I think if you are interested in Teri's movies, this one maybe is a good choice! Huh, Love Teri forever!
