Jimmy Choo Cecile Crystal Clutch, Handbag of the Day

Take a simple satin bag and cover it with humongous black crystals and this is what you get. The stones themselves are stunning, but seem a bit heavy for the petite bag. But the black chain handle is perfect and the matching logo plaque is just discreet enough. The bag closes with a press stud and features two inner pockets. $1995.

"just discrete enough" ??? this whole bolt-on logo thing has got to end. when FUBU, Polo, and Jimmy Choo have the same overall strategy, it's just a commodity. endless line extensions and brand extensions. logos everywhere. guess what? can't be ubiquitous and obvious and still be luxurious - and certainly not exclusive.
the first thing I thought when looking at that bag was "too bad about the bolt-on logo"
let the logo backlack continue!
