Jennifer Lopez's Baby Registry
I must say I'm actually really glad that I'm not invited to Jennifer Lopez's baby shower, because that girl has some expensive taste and I wouldn't be able to get her anything she wanted! She's registered at Petit Tresor in L.A., and considering she's the richest woman under 40 (according to Fortune) it should be no surprise that she plans to raise her baby girl and baby boy in true superstar style. From cashmere baby outfits to Moses blankets to high-end strollers, not only does she have pricey taste but she's requesting almost everything in sets of two: one pink and one blue.But don't worry, if you're invited to the shower you have until February to get your cash together!

OK....i think its great J. Lo is doing so well and can give her kids the best...I just think she could donate some of her money to charities or good causes. Because she can certainly afford it. But a $300 dollar blanket (or whatever that brown thing with pink embroidery was) is going a leeeetle overboard. I just don't like it when people make a big deal of buying expensive things....it just makes less fourtunate people feel bad.

i wonder how much of these registry items were selected so that the majority of folks that would have given a gift will not be able to? she is rich enough on her own that she can buy the things that she truly wants.

Ok, Here's the deal. All of us Mothers want to give our little ones our very best. Whether that be handme downs that some one gave us or a $300 onsie. Get real. We do the best that we can and give our children the best. Not everyone is a millionaire. I am definitley not. Who cares where she gets her stuff. That is her business. If she has it let her get what she wants to. It is her money and HER children.

Just because they are rich dosn't mean they need to donate every dollar they have to charity. They do still work! Its really awsome when they do but its this womans first baby shower and probably her last! Let her go baby crazy!!! She deserves it! Whenever people hear about rich people getting expensive things, everyone freaks that they dont donate.. they probably do! and woul dyou donate every gift you got?? I doubt it

I would love to be a fly on the way of that nursey just to see her precious babies barf formula (because she is waaaaay to busy and consumed with what will happen to her breasts to breastfeed) all over their matching cashmere outfits..lol

When yourich it does not matter if you cluesless. There be 5 nannies running around this house and all she and her husband have to do is love the kids. Sleep in nannies are the norm with the rich, they dont even have to get up when the kid screams in the middle of the night,
I know, I was one years ago and got out, its a horribble job.
Its the nannies stupid. In this rate I would have 10 kids.

Why begrudge JLo for wanting those things? She has worked a long time and waited to have these babies. She is just like any other expentant Mother and wants and needs all those things . Do you really expect her to shop at Walmart or Target? Why should she ? And, she has probably giving many of these gifts to others over the years going to baby showers for friends and or relatives. So why should nt she get too ? Oh and BTW, I heard Christina did give away her gifts to charity. But, guest were told to bring a gift for Christina AND one for charity . So I am sure the charity ones were not top line.

Just a small response to J'Lo's baby registry and to the other comments. Yes J'lo is wealthy, yes it is our fault for making her that way Yes to all of those things. My thing is this, the economy sucks, we are at war, there are homeless people on the streets and kids that are being abused. We can not judge the way people live their lives, we can only live our lives to the best of our abilities. We can only hope that those more fortunant than us can give to others that are not. If not then those people that are not helping others and not passing on their blessings will have to deal with that at some point in their lives, if not maybe then on their death beds when regret sets in they will then have to deal with the paths they chose to walk down. Until then folks, lets look in the mirror and figure out what to do to make the world a better place. Maybe The White House, The entertainment industry and The media will one day relize that there is more to life than money, fame and sex. Until then pass on wisdom, Love, Peace and most of all God.

I think Jennifer Lopez loves her husband and wants her babies. I don't think it's about that. She's glowing. She looks very content. I doubt she's guilty of the baby daddy "trust fund" scheme.
I do hear of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony donating time and money to charities, so I don't think anyone should judge them because of their financial worth and what they buy. Besides, do any of us know them personally?
When a person has a lot of wealth, it's expected that they live a lavish lifestyle. I mean why live like a pauper when you and your husband are worth hundreds of millions of dollars?
It makes no sense. Everyone loves nice things, and if they deny it, then they're lying. However, I agree that money and material objects are definitely not the source of happiness - no amount of money can buy faith, self-worth, health, a loving family and good friends.
