Jennifer Lopez's Baby Registry
I must say I'm actually really glad that I'm not invited to Jennifer Lopez's baby shower, because that girl has some expensive taste and I wouldn't be able to get her anything she wanted! She's registered at Petit Tresor in L.A., and considering she's the richest woman under 40 (according to Fortune) it should be no surprise that she plans to raise her baby girl and baby boy in true superstar style. From cashmere baby outfits to Moses blankets to high-end strollers, not only does she have pricey taste but she's requesting almost everything in sets of two: one pink and one blue.But don't worry, if you're invited to the shower you have until February to get your cash together!

I like Jlo but my question is. Why would JLO waste all the money she has on the ugliest carage ever. The blue carage she bought is something you would see in France or Paris. Jlo might have the money to buy a $3,945 carage but she sure isnt using it correctly

I think she is a ok looking P. R. but I hope she gets back all the heart aches she has caused. Marc will eventually cheat on her too and dump her not only with one kid but two. She'll learn her lesson and never mess with married men again, I hope. She is a no-charge prostitute if you ask me. She sleeps with anyone just to get to the top. And for those of you complaining about her having and trashing so much cash, where do you think she gets all that money from if it's not from stupid ones that go out and buy all her junk?

Whatever happens we should all bear in mind that people are different and do things differently considering their level of realisation with the world. it's quite stupid to lavish money for mundane things that are just temporal when you can show love with those monies to those less priviledged whose prayers and memories will last eternally. Jlo take care of your children moderately and dont make the poor sad by being insensitive and dont make a news out it all the time.

Good for J-lo. life aint a rehersal and if one has the cash then take full utilisation of it. Let the kids have the life their mother once longed for when she was a kid. Thumbs up girl!!!

Why is it pretentious for a woman to want to share in the joys of a baby shower? When are you going to realize that some people are just more fortunate than others. That is what this country is built upon. Let the woman have some fun and enjoy a baby shower. I suppose you think the doctors delivering the babies should tell her "don't worry about the cost, just give our fees to charity".

Yeah right she is far from the richest woman under 40 , I just came from an event at the Palace NY hotel , and ah the host was a 25 year old beauty mogul , worth over 300million dollars. Talk about good investments and good financial planning. Jlo is prob worth less than 30million . Sales do not equal net worth and she only gets a royalty off of sales. Forbes is a entertainment list. Some of the wealthiest people in the world would not touch that list with a 10 foot poll.

I know that most celebrities are very selfish and self-centered but you have to admire ones like Christina Aguelera who gave all her shower presents to charity. J Lo is one of the most self-centered divas of the works.

Just because you can afford $350 cashmere outfits or have friends that can, does not make it right. I bought my kids gorgeous clothing from Old Navy and Target and make donations in their names to Make A Wish foundation.
Target has the cutest kids bottoms for $5.99 and adorable onsies for $3.99. I wore beautiful (and cheap!) maternity wear from Old Navy and Target while pregnant and looked cute.

I totally agree with you. I hate the kinds of people who think they're better than everyone just because they wear designer clothing. It's just stuff. The baby will sue it for a short period of time before it grows out of it. I may be unable to afford much more than a small gift on that registry but I'm wealthy just the same. I have a stable and loving (usually) family. I win.
