Brad Pitt's 'Make It Right' Foundation, Charity of the Day

Brad Pitt's Make It Right foundation is geared towards helping hurricane Katrina victims rebuild in New Orleans. Brad is putting a call out to all American families to be generous and giving this Christmas season by donating to the cause and helping New Orleans families as they fight "the fight of the their lives." The biggest focus of the efforts is rebuilding the homes that were lost, and doing it in a speedy and environmentally conscious way.
Donating to the cause is a great gift, either as a straight monetary amount given in a loved one's name or through giving them a t-shirt or hat to promote and support the cause.

Good Morning,
We are LAR-LLC and are participatiing in the rebuilding of homes and apartments in the New Orleans area. We have several investors that are buying properties for cash and flipping them to locals with the intent of building neighboorhoods.
We are working with local officials and residence to see where the greatest needs are but have run into a snag. Their is only so much money that we can spend.
I saw that you are matching funds in the New Orleans area and we are wondering if the following scenario would work for you .
Most of our investors are extremely credit worthy individuals with great credit and high net worth. We are not looking for a hand out but wondering if you would be willing to create a fund that would lend us money against the properties that we are buying for purchase and rehab. We could pay 4 points and 14% APR interest with the loan being repaid in less than 4 months. Again we are not looking for a hand out, just a helping hand. We are currently involved in several homes and apartments complexes in St. Bernards parish. Please contact me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Pat Montesanti

Mr Brad,
I don't know much about you, but I need help and I know you are working with New Orleans since Katrina. I've been trying to make it right for my family as long as I can remember. They suffered through Katrina; I brought them to where I was. When it was o'kay to return to New Orleans, I brought them back. Their hearts are in New Orleans, it's all they really know. Staying there can be an expensive task. I hear the opportunity to keep them together will be coming available very soon. I've been trying to get a loan to purchase the house next door to my mother, and have been declined on more than one occasion. I've been with the Army 15ys and my bank about the same. Your foundation is welcome to check my credit, but I need to get this loan. If your Make It Right Program gives loans, I need to borrow $50,000.00. I can pay the money back over five to six years, depending on the interest. This is the measure of a dispirit woman.

First, I am an admirer of Brad's effort to help the people of the 9th. ward. I would apppreciate information on how to present a product for fund raising. It is a flag pole (16") that a customized chip containing music is installed. The idea is to have the flag feature the logo of the city and the music is of your choice. Up to 70 seconds. IE: "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orlean"/"When The Saints Go Marching In". The flag would be given for each donation of $25.00. Your cost is $2.30. We will donate $.25 to the foundation for each flag.
Please let me know if you wish a sample.
