The Sur La Table watch has a Japanese movement in a water-resistant stainless steel case. The hands are in the form of a knife for and spoon. It sells for $69.95.
Their sterling silver cook's charm bracelet has seven charms including a whisk, cookbook, colander, mixer and measuring cups. There are also additional charms available including a martini glass, wine bottle, coffee pot and a corkscrew. The bracelet sells for $199.95 and the charms range from $12.95 to $48.95.

No serious foodie (horrible term) would think of wearing either of these. People really interested in food who can afford $350.00 prix fixe dinners are not going to be wearing a seventy dollar tacky watch.

Just me - I think you are confusing serious with pretentious.
Get over yourself and have some fun. I'm not a serious "foodie" but I am a serious baker and I think these are fun for what they are. Life's too short to be such a snob.
