Camilla's Million Dollar Makeover

Camilla Parker-Bowles will never be Princess Diana but that doesn't mean the sexagenarian can't be glamorous. Perhaps in anticipation of Prince Charles's ascension to the throne, Camilla has been getting more and more stylish. The Sunday Times tallies up the costs of the Duchess's makeover from the hair ( £40,300 a year) to the wardrobe ( £281,000) and her Philip Treacy hats (£13,650). Other costs include tooth whitening, facials, yoga classes and shoes. Just how much does it cost to be Camilla? The Times estimates £507,321.58 and that doesn't even include the all-important jewelry. The Brits seems to be in favor of the new and improved Camilla, the headlines have been full of tributes to her new style.

I get a kick out of you people that say 'she broke up a family'. If you ever followed the history of Diana and Charles, you would know that Charles always loved Camilla, but he had to marry a virgin, good blood line, someone to give birth to the next king!!!! Believe me, do you really think Diana was all broken up about Charles and Camilla, if you do, I have a bridge in London for sale !!!!

Australia still has the British monarchy. Charles did not have too much to do in life and couldnt do that! If this drag bag becomes Queen we will have our War of Independence.

It makes me half sick to look at her..she looks like she is unclean and smells...I think Charles was looking for someone that could not outshine him, hence he had to go for one of the ugliest mutts he could find..inside and out..
I can't believe the English people would allow her to be queen... Don't forget the old saying "you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear......

Well, I see that it didn't work. Camilla has destroyed Prince Charles and he has embraced disgrace through his marriage. I think it is pitiful that they continue to try to shove her down our throats and honestly believe that time has healed our disgust of her and the entire situation. He is not stable enough to be King and should never allowed to be head of the Church of England or get anywhere near his supposed destiny as King of England. He made that choice and we do NOT have to accept him or Camilla.

Not bad, really, she never was a raving beauty, and gravity does its thing to the best of us. But 40,000 pounds for hair? That's more than 100lb a day! I suspect a typo. Please tell me it's a typo. Also, I never understood all the royal hats anyway, so ok, knock yourself out. The jewelry: what, you think they buy it new? They trade pieces around, get old gems reset, it's a whole other world of recycling.

OKay Camilla reminds me of Dorian Gray. She can look all noble to us but she knows ddeep in her heart that waht she did to get her man was nothing less than heinous . i dont care how much weave she gets or how much wall paper paste she puts on that very disturbing face. She is evil and Camilla just for the record Karma comes back to you hard so think about that

I think she looks much better than she did before. I don't agree with what she and Charles did to Lady Di but that was then, this is now. As for the hats, I love the look. I wish that ladies here in the states and men for that matter, would take better care of their appearances. It just looks so much more classier!

I'm very surprised that it didn't cost far far more to makeover this thoroughly ruthless, cruel and unkind woman. What the aged Camilla Parker-Bowles looks like now is irrelevant. She remains what she is - the implacably ruthless woman who demeaned her own husband and family and children; who destroyed young Diana's marriage and family; who kept poor weak Charles on a leash; and who is now delighting in her undeserved media fame as she (isn't this true?) dances on Diana's grave.
