However, I am struck by the advertising to the right--Swarovski and Cartier, both big retailers of diamonds.... Diamonds, it happens, are one of the "big baddies" in the ecologically damaging gift-giving world. Destroying rain forests, enslaving indigenous peoples, all so a few fat cats can make big money on overpriced over-hyped jewelry. I think the Nature Conservancy might take issue with having its name touted right alongside these purveyors of misery and environmental destruction.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Heather]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Dec 4th 2007 1:17PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
