Did Victoria Beckham Spend $50,000 On A Treehouse?

Each year we chronicle the Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gifts but we rarely get to hear about who purchases them. This year though, free-spending Victoria Beckham is said to have bought one of them. It is being reported that Posh Spice spent $50,000 on the Treetent at the Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills. The Treetent was created by Dutch sculptor and designer Dré Wapenaar and has a a nine-foot-diameter hardwood floor and round mattress. It sleeps two adults but she is said to have bought this as a fabulous fort for her three children. it isn't the first time that the Beckhams have bought their children a luxurious treehouse, a couple of years ago they spent around $187,000 for a much-contested playhouse at their English estate.

That ridiculous looking women has always made me ill, this just made me puke. To bad she didn't stay where she came from. What a cold, miserable face, stuck up bitch. Think Britney is a problem?....just wait. This lucky world has 3 more coming up, that will make Britney look like an angel.
Let's hope this disgusting person never gives birth to a daughter. Oh but wait, she must sleep with her husband and you best believe he only gets near it for pictures.

Just another example of ignorance. When people do stupid, irrisponsible spending like this, it accomplishes nothing except to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. I thought people with money were supposed to be more educated than this. All this shows is that they have no respect for money and what it can do for the rest of the world.

It's sad, people spending that kind of money on foolish things. When you have the hard working person, just getting by day to day on daily living things. this makes me sick of wasted money.

I swear to you; this is the honest-to-God truth! I had to google Victoria Beckham to see who she is.....that's how much I care. Sounds like she is really teaching values to her kids............if she has any...I don't know.

Oh Please, if you have that much money to spend like that, why not just help others? I have kids and times are very hard right now for me and others. I know that for my family alone, it is going to be a very sad Christmas here because of no money. There is many more like us and then you have people like that, who spend money like that. I know alot of people right around here that would be happy to have just a couple of hundred dollars to spend on their kids.

Seriously ! Us SPOILED ROTTEN Americans have NO IDEA what a "sad Christmas" it is for people around the world... Awwww sigh ~pout~ poor little Johnny can't get a $50 video game, Little suzzie can't get the new and latest Barbie. How about the little girl working in some factory 18 hours a day for pennies, who can only DREAM of owning her own doll (how many does YOUR "sad" daughter own?), How about the mother who's walked 10 miles for a jug of dirty infested water from a watering hole shared with cows, the family of little AIDS orphans living in a mud hut being raised by their 11 year old oldest sibbling, begging neighbors for a bowl of G/D rice to feed them. I know,,I know,, it's EASY to get caught up in the whole "Christmas morning" crap but get your heads out of the clouds and be GRATEFUL, you OBVIOUSLY have electricity to run your computer, Millions of people around the world would call THAT a luxury, forget the tree tent !!!

While I wouldn't (and couldn't) spend $50,000.00 on a tree house, it's their money to spend anyway they want. People saying give it to the poor, why? I know I don't earn a living just to give it away. If people want to give to the poor, that's great. If people want to spend the money they earn on themselves, that's great too, it's THEIR money.

You people are simply absurd! It is ALL relative. Posh spending $50,000 is like us spending $300. From what I can see, both of them work hard for their money and it is THEIR money. In addition, they do give to charity - again, all relative. Everytime I see..'give it to the poor', it makes me sick. Many of these rich people give plenty, but for people like the ones on this board, no matter what they give, it would not be enough! GET OVER IT.

That is one ugly "tree house". I can't believe someone would charge that much for it. Probably the only one sold.
As for the Beckhams IT'S THEIR MONEY. If they want to make a foolish buy it's their business. The people who made that ugly thing has employees too. Should they not get paid? Trillions of dollars have been taken for the "war" on poverty and there are more people every day that give up and get in on the gravy train, tired of paying high taxes.
