Claseo, Shopping By Invitation
Piggybacking on the idea of exclusive boutiques is Claseo , an online closed shopping community that sells an invitation-only line of clothing. The Claseo fashion items which include polos like the pink one shown here, are limited and equipped with a visible identification code. In order to be able to purchase Claseo apparel, you need to be invited by a current member of Claseo. The snob appeal is high here, Claseo members choose the people who are eligible to wear Claseo designs. You can also apply for membership online. The shirt shown here, which regularly sells for 79 euros but is currently reduced to 55 euros comes with a Claseo shirt bag, five business-card-format invitation cards, five email invitation privileges, a lifetime online community membership, free shipping within the EU and free replacement if you chose the wrong size. The inviting member also gets a discount on their next purchase.

why are you people so angry at someone elses brand that caters to the elite . Most of you people are poor middle class who are do nothing more then complain about high end items. There will always be a want for the exclusive , the private. Mostly to keep people away from you poor loosers. Get a life and stay off of luxist if you hate lux items. SMDH at you loosers .

"Loosers"? You must be one of those supermodels who can't spell.
Or think.
Ruling class? Nov 30th 2007 8:59AM
I absolutely agree with Nancy here. You're talking about a trend that's millennia old. The ruling class has ALWAYS needed, and controlled, elite access to objects unavailable to the commoner.
Status symbols change, but the need for the symbolism of status never will.
"I rule the frigging world."
