Town Sells on eBay for $3.8 Million
You really can get everything on eBay, even your own "Unpopulated 1 House Texas Town."Gee, I've always wanted one of those.
Albert is not the first town to get sold on eBay, but it's the latest. Just north of San Antonio, Texas, it consists of 13 acres that houses a tavern, a dance hall, a tractor shed, a 3 bedroom house, and a couple peach and pecan orchards. There's no post office and no permanent residents, but it sold for $3.8 million dollars to a bidder from Italy -- which was well over the reserve price which was set at only $2.5 million.
Do you suppose the winner bought it as some kind of over-the-top Christmas gift for somebody? That would be so fun!

Texas needs a 10 tornadoes, all at once. Ick, its residents even pollute the coast lines where things SHOULD look beautiful. Texas is a big colon waiting on some natural x-lax to occur. 2012 Texas, suck mine.

That is why Kerrville is full of snowbirds, that are taking up permanent residences, because Texas is soooooooo ugly.

ALL YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT TEXAS. ISN'T IT ONE OF THE UNITED STATES?????????? I AM FROM NY, AN ITALIAN, AND A SO CALLED YANKEE. HELLO!!!!!!!!!! I'M AN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!! NOT NORTH. NOT SOUTH, AND NOT MID-WEST. THIS COUNTRY IS A GREAT ONE. WE DO NOT NEED TO HYPE UP ANOTHER CIVAL WAR. SO THE ITALIAN BOUGHT 13 ACRES. SO WHAT. HOW MUCH REAL ESTATE IN THIS COUNTRY IS OWNED BY OTHERS NOT LIVING HERE. PLENTY. I KNOW. I AM IN THE BUSINESS OF DEALING WITH OWNERS. BLOG HAS A MEANING!!! I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO!!!!!!!
X Nov 27th 2007 3:58AM
Oh yes, nature and Earth is beautiful! Don't worry, the tornadoes would only dispose of the human population problem! (Destroy all the McDonalds + the three shits a day every Texan demands of their sewage, distasteful cultures, etc etc etc etc) etc-infinity. Refer to my first statement.

If you want a real deal to double your money easily, I`ve got your place. Interstate frontage 900 ft at a high growth area 5 miles south of wal-mart headquarters in arkansas. Very few intersections left along I-540. Sewer is nearly completed priced at 5 bucks a sq ft. This will be 15 bucks a sq ft in 5 years easily. Incredible growth there. Why do I want to sell ? 5 bucks a sq ft retires me and I ain`t gettin no younger.

3.8 mil, I hope he knows what he gets into. Muggy heat, mosquitos chases you faster than you can run. Fire ants run up to your crutch faster than a rocket ship, no mentioning coper-head, poisonous spiders, and racoons that are larger than a toddler.
The only thing on top of that is the "red neck" accent. He will say to his hometown folks, "I spent a year in Texas one night".....
A piece of S*** hole.

Euro Trash buys Texas town Nov 27th 2007 5:48AM
Hey thanks President Bush for letting Euro Trash buy a chunk of America. Did you learn how to sell out the American people from Jimmy Carter?Carter let Japanese buy up all the available land in Hawaii for Golf Courses that only allow Japanese in. Same thing to retailers who are giving Euro Trash a steep discount while shafting Americans you are all slime.
Euro nations have laws banning property sales to foreign nationals we should have those laws as well!

"13 ACRES ISNT A TOWN!!!!"
Tell that to the people who live in Manhattan. . .
Alan Nov 27th 2007 8:41AM
I`ll say this, any American could have bought it. Someone else did kudos to them. Same thing in N W Arkansas with commercial property. Someone will buy this bargain I have and I could care less because the locals missed it when I bought it years ago. Their tight wads so they missed a big gain and they may miss another one if an outsider buys it. Reference is post 65.
