The cut of a diamond really has a substantial impact on how brilliant a diamond is. It is a fact that is scientifically proven. Diamonds that have been cut to maximize brilliance cost more not only because it takes at least four times longer to cut and polish them, but also because much more of the original rough diamond is polished away. Like my Dad always said, good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good. If you put a Hearts On Fire diamond next to an ordinary diamond, you'll notice the difference immediately.
