Buy A Town on eBay

We've seen it before and it never fails to attract attention, a town for sale on eBay. In this case the town is smaller than many of the ranches and estates we have featured here. Bobby Cave the owner of Albert, Texas has put his 13-acre town for sale on eBay. Cave reportedly spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to restore the town which is located about 50 miles north of San Antonio. Albert dates back to the late 1800s and used to have a post office but is now unincorporated. No one lives there permanently but there is a tavern, dance hall, tractor shed and a three-bedroom house. Cave was planning to turn the place into a tourist destination and will include his plans for a restaurant and cabins. The town is for sale with a reserve price of $2.5 million and the auction ends on November 23.

Just another person with more money than brains. It sold for like 3.8 millions dollars. All that money and able to just throw that amount into the air.... I cant help but think how many poor, hungry children 3.8 million would have been able to feed. Or even how many Christmas toys for needy kids that could have bought.
