Victoria's Secret 2007 Fantasy Bra

Every year it's a challenge to see how Victoria's Secret will top themselves with their latest Fantasy Bra. They couldn't possibly put any more diamonds on the bra itself so this year's selection is a full set. The 2007 Fantasy Bra, modeled by Selita Ebanks includes a thong, garter, cuff bracelet and matching barrette with a holly and poinsettia theme. The entire collection is composed of $4.5 million worth of diamonds, rubies, emeralds and yellow sapphires embroidered into a push-up bra created by jeweler Mouawad.

This model is way too thin. It distracts from the set. Emaciation is not attractive.

Dear Santa,
I've been very good all year...
(And I agree the model is too thin. That's actually one of the first things I thought when I saw the image)

another thing, I know she not ugly, but I think they coulda found a prettier model, black/white/whatever. And I'm a 22 year black male

(I think she is as attractive as any other.)
If she were more buxom the price of the ensemble would have cost millions more - and that would have been an obscene waste - there are people starving out there you know...

I know this is supposed to be a fun distraction, a little pizzazz for the holidays, but honestly, does anyone have any doubt why the world sees the American people as hedonistic pigs? This is yet another example of our over-the-top consumerism in a world where many folks are wondering where their next drink of water is coming from. I hate to be a downer, but... damn!!!!

This very expensive lingerie set is very ugly.It just shows that money can't buy taste.I have seen more attractive models on America's Next Top Model.

i bought v-secerts bra's they are not worth the money. the straps are to long and can only be adjusted so far they do not stay up they keep sliding off your shoulder. I paid 82$ for two bra's. never again would i go there

i loved victorias sec. bras and undies. it was worth the investment.. until about 5 years ago. now the items are as cute as ever.. but the quality is poor. even the lotions / perfumes etc just are not what they should be. its sad. i suppose they are spending too much time on the ads and the "show" and not enough on the merchandise. many of my friends say the same.. as a business they need to rethink things

That is the ugliest 4.5 million dollars in jewels I've ever seen! You'd think they could find a better use for them than this crappy bikini set. Now, if she only had on the bracelet, garter and barrett she might recoup some of that dough as a stripper!

A close friend and former executive with one of the largest and most exclusive lingerie manufacturers (Now out of business) said this to me a few months ago. "The lingerie industry in this country (USA) is finished. All that is left is a bra and a thong" Women get married and as soon as they have a husband, they begin wearing a "T" shirt or flannel to bed and wonder why their man strays. Victoria's Secret is slowly moving away from lingerie and more heavily into sports wear. They also see the trend. Bras are now rupperized plastic popped out of a mold and women think that's sexy. And the divorce rate continues to climd. No, this isn'the only problen but for women to be thinking that a million dollar bra is sexy is the tip of the iceberg. The feminine woman as she was once known is gone forever. Sad.

This is a photoshop disaster...they've trimmed any extra flesh off her arms, thighs, and stomach..she's not really this thin, I would bet on it. VS products are made by Bali, Vanity Fair, and Warners. The same you see in the department stores, and Vanity Fair makes Vassarette, in Wal Mart. All from the same company, ladies! I used to work there and have been in the bra industry for 15 years...

Who's fantasy is this? Everything in this photo creeps me out...

Agreed this model looks fine, though I have seen many that look anorexic. I'm not into the Mouwad's creation this year.
cyndy Oct 15th 2007 6:26PM
looks like my nephew's body, what happend to big boobs and nice curves?
Liz Oct 15th 2007 7:12PM
I agree, VS products are complete trash! They fall apart, come loose...they are cheaply made and way overpriced. You have to be completely obsessed with yourself to be ok with wearing something that shoves diamonds up your butt. This isn't even lingerie, it's a bullet-proof bra and some tacky accessories. They should donate it to a woman in the secret service or the police department to serve as extra protection if they are shot. The reason I am so negative is because I am tired of how trashy, tacky, cheap, and slutty lingerie has become. Dita Von Teese looks like a goddess next to this alleged "female".

Ribs are not sexy what so ever the sexiest woman alive is like a size 5.
susan Oct 15th 2007 7:46PM
LETS GET REAL PEOPLE, SO MANY WOMEN CANT EVEN FIT IN VICTORIES SECRET GARMENTS AND IM SICK OF THEM MAKING ME FEEL UNWORTHTY!! THEY NEED TO REMEMBER THAT FULL FIGURE WOMEN WANT TO FEEL SEXY TOO! AND OFFER PLUS SIZES - SO WE DONT FEEL LIKE WE CANT EVEN WALK IN THE STORE KNOWING THERE WONT BE ANYTHING INSIDE TO FIT US
siuthx Oct 15th 2007 9:08PM
Umm..Not to be rude but I highly doubt victoria secret went out to make you personally feel bad. They set out to make money and enough women buy their stuff to keep them expanding and opening new stores. If you don't feel sexy you can't exactly go blaming it on a store that doesn't even know you exist can you? On a side note I noticed you didn't champion all the skinny people who try to go shopping at Plus size stores and can't find anything....

I think the model is beautiful and has an unique look. I don't think criticising her really is worth it, considering the bra and panties displayed aren't really worth it. The design is extremely bland, yet tacky. I have to admit, the garter is cute, but it doesn't do justice to enhance the bra and panty displayed. I have to admit, the garter is cuter than the bras and panties by far. They should have chosen a more unique design, that had some character, rather than this bland, boring, forgettable design. I love Victoria's Secret, so despite this tacky ensemble, I will continue to shop there.
