Viktor & Rolf Launch Handbag Collection

New to the luxury handbag market are quirky Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren. Together with the Italian manufacturing company, Gibò, they have announced the inaugural collection of their handbag line. Made from silk satin, patent leather, lizard, woven raffia and textured kidskin, the collection will wholesale for approximately $600 to $1,000 and will be available at Viktor & Rolf boutiques and at Bloomingdale's in the U.S. Making use of a subdued pallete of neutrals with a little pink thrown in, the bags were named by the designers to mimic a conversation. Shown here are The Good Evening and the I'm Fine bags.
