If you are loving the fun that designers are having with buttons on shoes, then set your eyes on the
Adrienne Button Boot by Frye. The round toe tall boot encompasses comfort and style to create the ultimate boot for the season. The sole is made from polyurethane, which will not give you as much flexibility when walking compared to a rubber sole, however, it gives enough flexibility that they don't feel stiff. The front buttons are purely for decoration, giving a military inspired look, while the side zipper and goring eliminate the work that goes with putting on slip-on tall boots. Shaft measures at 14 1/2" with a 13" circumference while the heel measures at 3 1/4".

Wow, very elegant. Very 18th century meets the hip hautness of boot persuasion. Although the "heel" kind of adds a trendy sort of appeal to the boot, I find that these are simple, yet possess a very flattering victorian route that may/may not have a rather moderate, yet mass effect on individual appeal.

just bought these boots in a 6.5 and 7 (brown and black). SUPER cute and really comfortable. i have to return those that don't fit (7) but if anyone is interested in buying them from me, let me know. paid $250 and will sell for same plus shipping. major low price because zappos price matched what another site had them listed for plus discounted another 10%. HUGE savings from the listed $400 price.

colle, could you per chance tell me where you saw the boots at the discounted price? I would die to have zappos or another store price match that $250 price tag.
