Keith Urban's Nashville Mansion, Estate of the Day

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have put their Nashville home in a gated community on the market. The story, which I first spotted in Page Six and then People, is that Urban and Kidman aren't leaving Nashville, they are moving into a new home (reportedly they have bought land and are looking to build a farmhouse. The four-bedroom house was bought by Urban in 2005 for $1.7 million. It was built in 2004 and pretty much looks brand new. As the Real Estalker Mama astutely notes, this home is not too distinctive. There's a lot of beige and soft colors and nothing except the gleaming black piano and the plethora of fitness equipment that makes it recognizable as a celebrity home. For your $2.45 million you also get a celeb neighbor, LeeAnn Rimes lives in the neighborhood.

I am glad they are they are staying in TN. Its the best decision they can make.NOTHING LIKE THE SOUTH.They will have a better chance of happiness in in their life.It is a slower pace in the south, and it will be good for their children. I think its great to see they won't a good stable life for themselves.

Tennessee is a beautiful state. I think Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are extremely talented people in their professions. Why do people have to be so negative? Besides, the bottom line is, if it's good enough for Dolly Parton, it's good enough for anyone! You don't find anyone more creative, built like a custom Barbie doll, smart and down to earth as Dolly. I live in Texas, Hooray for the South!!!

I too question why it's referred to as "Nicole Kidman's house" This is the land that Keith bought, that Keith had built. No it's not uptimal fancy nor pretentious it is calming, relaxing, open and inviting just like Keith. This home reflects Keith through and through! It has a simplistic touch and shows that Keith still loves the simple things in life and it allows him to add his own color and special touches to the interior be it paint, furniture or artwork. It was here that he has put so much of himself into and made his music come alive and was happy. I think Keith is really going to miss this home especially if things go bad in the marriage. For his sake I hope life gives him nothing but happiness and love even if it is with Nicole.

A beautiful home and Keith did a wonderful job with the decor, simple but elegant at the same time. I just wish that I was fortunate enough to have the money to buy it!! I hope that God continues to bless both Keith and Nicole in all that they do, Keith looks so happy and complete now and that's really all that matters!!
