Honestly I'm surprised it took her this long but Martha Stewart is finally getting into the wine business. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. has
announced a partnership with E.&J. Gallo Winery to create wines known as the "Martha Stewart Vintage." The first launch of 15,000 cases includes three wines: a 2006 Sonoma County Chardonnay, 2005 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvingon and 2006 Sonoma County Merlot. The wines will be available in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Phoenix and Portland starting in January and will sell for around $15.

she would put her name on a burning cross if it would make her money.

People that are that hateful and obviously haven't shared much of anything in their life, should stay out of the business. Especially her. Probably the most evil look on her face out of any one I can think of except Bush.

Everyone finds Martha so hateful- this is a free country- don't buy her stuff. Personally, I find her to be a classy and resourceful woman. She got nailed for a victimless crime and did her time, much like L'il Kim- another class act. Can't say that much for the likes of O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, and Phil Spector. The men in this paragraph are the true bitches.

I was wondering when she'd start marketing the wine she learned how to make while in prison...

Okay, against popular opinion, and sometimes my own judgement, I actually like Martha. Rachel Ray, however, needs to drop the Shirley Temple routine and act like a grown woman.

Go, Martha, go!

I am surprised that Martha's standards on wine aren't higher than these $15 Gallo fighting varietals she chose to carry her name.

Anything Martha is connected with is crap. Her line of "merchandise - and I use that term loosely" is not worth the money you pay for it. I have tried several items put out by dear old Martha and I only wasted my money. Better to pay a little more and have something of quality.

Uhm....I think Martha missed her mark. I thought she might write a new cookbook while in prison. Once she got out of prison, I figure since K-Mart bought out SEARS, she would be introducing the new "CRAFTSMAN'S Kitchen Tools and Gadgets!" Instead she is now introducing wine under her name. Interesting to say the least. The AOL article said she is introducing it in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Pheonix and Portland. I can understand Atlanta, Boston, Denver and Portland, but, Charlotte and Pheonix? With a well known name like hers, if I were her, I would introduce the wines to the NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
