We've seen plenty of companies setting up shop in Second Life but the
San Francisco Chronicle covers the use of Second Life to sell real estate in real life. Coldwell Banker has created a
virtual version of a $3.095 million house for sale in Mercer Island, Washington. What's the value of having the house in Second Life? People all around the world can virtually visit the home at any time. In the article, listing agent Suzanne Lane reports that she isn't sure whether or not the listing will sell the house but that she has fielded calls from interested parties. Coldwell Banker opened its Second Life office in March and also buys and develops virtual property.

For $3 million, I would expect at least a sideload garage maybe even with a car port!
