Grand Cayman, Estate of the Day

Today's Friday fantasy takes to us Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands and one of the most lavish oceanfront homes in the region. This home was built in 2001 but went through a renovation and upgrade after Hurricane Ivan. The home is 10,000 square feet with four bedrooms,a media or bar room, plus a separate wing with a triple garage topped by a guest apartment. The terraces feature bar and grill areas and there is an expansive pool area. You couldn't get closer to the beach if you tried. As you might expect, the entire home is oriented toward the amazing view with a double-height great room that offers a a striking view through two sets of windows. It is listed at $7.5 million. After the jump, is any reason to have a television that large in the kitchen?

This place is fantastic! I don't think even hurrican Dean could get me out of this house. Do people really live this large? And do they know how lucky they are? I certainly hope so...
