If true this place doesn't have its head screwed on staight. A large part of addiction recovery is to receive support from fellow sufferers. Regardless of sex, race, religion, wealth or fame, all addicts are created equal. Further it is hardly a secret that Ms. Lohan has a problem. If this information is accurate, and I were a patient there, I'd be contacting my lawyer to seek a refund. Enough is enough. Send her spoiled rotten, self centered butt, I need attention or I will do drugs and drink alcohol right to jail, period. No more stints to avoid jail time because she is white, rich and famous for nothing.

And better still, for her drug charge, because she claims she was just "holding." send her to were she belongs to begin with because it is against the law, period. Right to prison. A state correctional insitute. Where a number of others are there to begin with because they were caught with drugs on them. Drugs of course they claim was not their's to begin with. Just like her. They are truly some of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met.

I pray Lindsay gets past her demonds. She earned her money, no one gave it to her, she was not born into it. Her parenting has not been great, but, she is now an adult, and I for one believe that she can learn to love herself, and that she is not just a "product" to be sold and used by others.
My heart really hurts for this young women who has just turned 21 in July.

We should all be praying for this talented young lady and not wishing her any harm ...and praying that she never hurts anyone due to her addictions.

But it worked because he was ready, and it was the right program for him. He had previous attempts at traditional rehab and none of them worked partly because he did it for others and not himself. He needed something extreme to get his life back on track, and he finally realized this. That is why he chose the wilderness program far away from his home in Texas. He knew he needed a very restrictive fool-proof drug-free envirnoment for an extended period of time.

These Hollywood kids are no different. They need to find the right program for them---and who is to say the right program isn't a place like Promises or the progam in Utah Lohan is in? It could be. As long as they are sincere and ready, it could work for them. The key ingrediant is that they have to really want to get clean. No amount of pretty scenery, Jacuzzis, etc. will help Ms. Lohan or anyone else. It will just make the people who own these places richer.

Recovery Is hard work and if this is just another Spa...I think she'll end up relapsing. Recovery shouldn't be hell, but it's not supposed to be a day at the beach either. I wish her and anyone suffering from addiction well. I really hope she doesn't end up relapsing and killing herself or someone else in the process. Then, after 40 nights the wilderness, he was ready to live in a transitional center closer to home, a more typical rehabilition facility for a few months. As he earned trust, his environment became less restrictive, and he worked, went to school, and attended meetings.

Now he has been living and going to school on his own for a year in a college town a few hours drive from home. He comes home often on weekends, and the only friends he has left here are his true friends, not his druggie friends. He is a success story.
