Turnberry Place, Estate of the Day

The condo market in Las Vegas has been dodgy lately with a series of buildings being announced with great fanfare and then quietly scrapped. This one however, is no desert illusion. It's a two-story suite at Turnberry Place that spans over 7,000 square feet of space. It's exactly what you might suspect of a new posh Vegas condo. All flash and beige and bad paintings, giant televisions and opulent bathrooms. It has the bells and whistles that a high-roller could possible want including a media area that looks like a sports betting room and a row of slot machines. It is listed at an ambitious $12 million. After the jump, it's just like your own private casino.

I think that whoever built this forgot that it was supposed to be a place to live. Instead they ended up building a cliched high roller suite but without the casino resort downstairs.

This is my idea home... if a was a cashed up drug dealer stuck in the 1980's.

The row of slot machines are a bit much. There are two other properties by Turnberry that are a little more down to earth: Signature at MGM and Turnberry Towers. Signature has three towers and Turnberry Towers has two.
