Not a closet full, ONE? Purses wear out. Best to buy yourself something that will last the season, hey get matching shoes, go wild! Donate the rest to the orphanage, or the shelter for battered women. Do you know HOW FAR your dollars go in buying SHOES for children who have no one? I wonder how many children have no shoes, or a coat for school this year? let alone, clothes and school supplies? So many of our kids are already dependent on the schools for breakfast and lunch in the free programs. Time to give the families tools to climb out of the hole, it's not easy, been there done that a few times. I support a disabled husband and son, raised two other sons as well with cronic health issues. I could go into the challenges but won't. wake up america, the only one making items like this "worth" the price is the people who are stupid enough to pay it. anyway, i'll also be in the middle on the spending money issue. i think it's absolutely ridiculous to spend this amount of money on a bag. ridiculous. (i have about 10 bags and have only bought one. it's much more fun knitting or sewing your own; at least then it is actually unique and fun.) i'm not saying all your spare money should go to charity. i have a chronic illness. it costs a lot of money to stay healthy. but i still like getting something nice once in a while. on the other hand, a bunch of people who will say it's okay to splurge if you earn the money are the kind of people who won't just splurge on this one purse- they'll buy expensive high-heels the next day, an insanely expensive sportscar after that, they'll shop at the stores in the mall that charge nearly $100 for a shirt that isn't even all that special.
