Frank Gehry's Plans For Napa
We swooned over Frank Gehry's designs for the Marques de Riscal winery/resort in Spain, now the legendary starchitect has something a bit more modest planned for a Napa winery. The above is Gehry's design for Hall Wines which is creating a new complex of six buildings on Highway 29, south of St. Helena. The facility had its groundbreaking on Friday and will be built around a historic winery built in 1885 that was once home to Napa's wine co-op. The new design includes undulating wood trellises similar to Gehry's usual metal flourishes. The wood gives the winery a slightly more traditional look. The new winery should be open in 2009 and will be open to the public for tours and tastings.

Bukhara.My name is Timur to me 20 years. And I very adore your projects. Here at us in
the country does not have such people which can so indulge in fantasy as you.
And I've nobody to study to such, therefore I always come into the Internet and
I search for your projects and Zaha Hadid.And when I've found your mail
I've not jumped up nearly with happiness.:) I'm going to act
the next year in architectural institute because I chill out from architecture and design and I like to indulge in fantasy
and in mine City I've met the excellent architects and for me it's honour
that I'm familiar with them and they know me. And some of them help
to be prepare for institute. I'm too biased to fantasies of the future I like Modern
also Hi-tech I try not turn back and to go only forward. And I'll be very glad
if you've advised me something? And In general though sometimes correspond.
I know at you there is no time and likely not you now read, and your secretary,
but I very much would want that you've written to me. And then I'll become most
by the happy man. The truth I not so well write and speak in English because I'm Uzbek
but speak in Russian I only begin study English, but I hope you'll understand me.
