Today's estate takes us back to the luxury enclave of Centre Island, New York (a place we most recently covered for Billy Joel's home, still on the market at $32 million). Today's home is a classic Colonial built in 1900. The home has been redone and updated. The home has five acres that include a pool, tennis courts, a cabana and a sandy beach. Inside the redo has been a bit of a charmectomy and the current decor is a touch shabby chic but the good bones remain with high ceilings, oak floors and delicate moldings. it is listed at $14.8 million.
